Gahkuch is located on 73 Kilometer Drive from Gilgit Town, Pakistan. It's the entryway to Iskoman Valley and Headquarter of Ghizer District, start at the bridge of china and ends with a long hanging bridge to the same valley. It’s a perfect place for many activities including hiking, fishing and duck shooting in seasonal time. Gilgit River flows exactly through the center of Gahkuch. It looks like a small town in 1998, but currently it developed due to the construction of road which create its links from Gilgit to Phunder and other valleys of the region. Now you can find all tourist facilities and services in Gahkuch.

    The town lies on the way to Ishkoman. It is covered by mountains. It is northwest of Gilgit, the capital of Pakistan's autonomous Gilgit-Baltistan province. it's called the Paradise of Gilgit. MashaAllah Allah ne hamain itne khoobsurat aur haseen mulk se nawaza. aur log bahaar ghoomne jaty hein.. Thanks to Almighty Allah for the beautiful country.

    Gahkuch is the centre of District Ghizer. God has blessed this area with plenty of beauty and peaceful life. A tourist can feel comfortable and avail every facility at this place i.e District Headquarter Gahkuch. I belong to Janat Ayashi which is also a peaceful and pretty place of Punial.
