Shah Faisal Mosque is one of the most scared destinations in Pakistan. It is located in Islamabad city and designed by famous Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay. It shapes like an Arab desert Bedouin’s tent. It is an iconic symbol of Pakistan throughout the world. Faisal Mosque is the largest mosque in Pakistan. The mosque is named after late King of Saudi Arabia Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz who funded to construct this mosque. Faisal Mosque has a capacity of accommodating 74,000 people at a time, as the main covered area is approx 5,000 meter square. This Mosque architecture still considers modern and unique in design and regarded as the national mosque of Pakistan which structure inspires the hopes and aspiration of new generation. The Mosque is located on an elevated area of land against the Islamabad’s Margalla Hills that symbolizes the mosque's significance and allows the visitors to witness it from miles around in day and night.
It contains four beautiful Turkish style minarets and the floor is covered with while marbles and decorated with mosaics. It is also one of the biggest mosques in world and attracts thousands of tourists every year. Shah Faisal Mosque is open for everyone but some restrictions are followed inside of main prayer hall that is only open at the time of prayer and taking pictures are prohibited inside the mosque. You can visit there with your family and friends it is undoubtedly a pleasant place in Pakistan to visit. Many tourist, students, and foreigner’s delegation have visited Faisal Mosque.

    jtni pyari masjid h otni hi be hurmti roz hti h is ki..we should be ashmaed of this...its no more mmasjid isa picnic spot now...administartion has just put a notic board and the they just forget the rules.there is no hijab even dopata...we say this is mosque...??????arent we ashmaed of calling them a mosque..arent we have any sense..
