Anarkali Bazar is one of the oldest existing market in Pakistan and Asia running from at least 200 years. Anarkali Bazar (market) offer new business trends and best business centre in Lahore. This market is divided into two portions; one was the old Anarkali Bazar where variety of food items are available and second one called New Anarkali Bazar where different traditional handicrafts, clothes and gift centre are available. It’s also famous because son of the prince fell in love here with Anarkali, who is Akbar courtesan and gave them a title of Anarkali "pomegranate flower" because of its charm and beauty.

    Don't forget to visit historical Mohkam din Bakery the oldest bakery of subcontinent,and Pak Tea House while visiting Anarkali Bazaar.Also visit the Sufi Shrine of Shiekh Abdul Razzaq (famously known as Nila Gumbad) and Sufi Shrine of Shahabuddin Shah Bukhari'Punj Pair,while visiting Anarkali Bazaar.

    I was trying to guess the small shop where we had 16 jamuns for a rupee in 1945-46!I was studying in St. Anthony's European School at Lawrence Gardens then. Can any one check if the school is still there, and if so, a photograph perhaps?

    I think its the most famous market of Lahore because people all over the world visited there.It is also famous because of its delicious food. The foreigners enjoyed the culture and traditions of Pakistan when they came here......because i think it almost describe the culture of Pakistan.
