Monument of Taj Mughal is located on 30 Kilometer drive from Gilgit Town, Pakistan. It was constructed to celebrate the victory of Taj Mughal about 700 years ago, The district has a well-to-do civilizing tradition and mixture of rare plants and flowers, the whole region is like a glory for mountaineers, rock climbers, tourists, hikers and anglers. A commemorative tower (14'-4" width and 21'-10" height) was constructed with the efforts of soldiers on the south mountain of Khomar and Jutial at an elevation of 1,000 feet on top of Gilgit town.

    The distance of 30 kms and drive from Gilgit means? in which direction, any landmark?? its very unfortunate that misleading information is worst than lack of information. This wrong and incomplete information is given in the map/brochure of PTDC and without photograph ( even no photo available on internet ? )......however to Mr. Amir Babiwal from Peshawar, some good information and photograph can be published, if still interested.....

    Beautiful Gilgit. Thanks to those who are exploring the area only to keep us informed. May I request for a complete history of Taj Mughal. I have been to most of this zone in my young days, yet then I never heard of such places to visit. some of the photos in this episode goes out of focus when these are enlarged for posters, Regards, Babiwal
