Gwadar authoritatively turned into part of Pakistan on 8th of December in 1958. Initially, Gwadar was a diminutive and undersized fishing township with inhabitants of hardly any thousand. The city went through main construction from 2002-07. Geographically the city is positioned on the southwestern Arabian Sea coast of Pakistan in Gwadar District of Baluchistan province and the climate is mostly dry, arid and hot. Gawadar has a distinctive intermingle of cultures and have an Arabic dance and music which are called Liwa. In past the city’s economy mostly depended on fishing and now Gawadar Port is the main spotlight in the city.
